WONDERFUL LITTLE GEM AT THE HEART OF THE LAURENTIDES

Now that I live up north, we want to discover what the region offers. Last weekend, Olive and I had a blast at Au Pays des Merveilles theme Park.

As we recently moved to the region, I decided to spend the summer here discovering our new environment instead of going on a trip. Together we start searching for family activities around: we want to start with activities in our city and slowly expand to the entire region. The plan is to enjoy one new experience every week. For our first experience, Olive and I embarked on an adventure promising laughter, thrills, and fun memories.

Le Pays des Merveilles (Wonderland) is a local attraction in the heart of Les Laurentide's beautiful nature. It is only a few minute drive from our place and an hour away from Mtl.

1. A Warm Welcome:

As we entered Wonderland, we snapped the park map to ensure we would experience all the attractions. At the ticket counter, we were greeted by friendly staff members, an easy entry process, and we even got one free entrance to another attraction park in the region (The next adventure already paid for, I guess). The Park's welcoming atmosphere set the tone for what was to be an incredible day ahead.

2. A Playground of Wonders:

Au pays des Merveilles Park is mainly for the little ones. That is also why I wanted to start with this activity, as Olive is almost eight, and she will soon outgrow the theme park. So, if you have kids between 2 and 8 years old is the perfect time to enjoy this Park. The miniature rides and gentle attractions are great for initiating younger kids. Still, as a parent, I also enjoyed going on the ride and being able to let go for a few hours.

3. Disney Princesses and magical moments:

Au Pays des Merveilles is a Disney-like park. That means we met with princesses such as Cinderella, Snow White and Sleeping Beauty. Every 30 min, there's an interactive princess show that requires the kid's participation. All the actors are teenagers who are so great with kids and acting that the kids are genuinely fooled! I enjoyed the show and how organized the entire was. There's also the Hansel and Grtal House and many other Disney stories attractions and decor.

4. Family-Friendly Fun:

What we appreciated most about Au Pays des Merveilles Park was its emphasis on family bonding and children's imagination. The entire park setup allowed us to emerge together in the Disney princesses' universe. The different playgrounds were cleaned and well-managed, allowing parents to be stress-free while the kids played.

5. Shopping stop:

Midway through our adventure, we took a break to visit the Park store. Unlike many parks where you find some toys pretty expensive, Au Pays des Merveilles Park's shopping items are affordable. Olivine managed to get what she wanted within her 20$ budget, and I avoided the usual argument when shopping in that kind of Park. WIN-WIN!

Our day at AU PAYS DES MERVEILLES Park was more than just a trip to an attraction park; it was an opportunity to strengthen mother-daughter bonds, share laughter, and discover more of the Laurentides region.

From thrilling rides to well-organized princess shows, Au Pays des Merveilles Park offered something special for the little ones and their family. As we bid farewell to the Park, Olive left with her heart full of joy and gratitude and me with my expectations well exceeded.
